Cottage Point Kiosk and Boat Hire, built around 1918, is situated at picturesque Cottage Point at the entrance to Coal and Candle Creek in the Kuring-gai National Park. Only 40 minutes from the Sydney CBD and should not be missed by visitors to Sydney.

Drive right to the end of the road at Cottage Point (no need to pay National Park entry fee, if you are only going to Cottage Point Kiosk) and you'll find the kiosk.

The Kiosk has a wrap around verandah and deck and is a great place to sit and enjoy light meals with friends and offers wonderful views of the magnificent surroundings.

An even better way to get closer to the abundant flora and fauna of the area is to hire one of our boats (with outboard motor) and explore the Hawkesbury River System. Why not order lunch from the Kiosk's selection of fine foods, wine and beer?

Enjoy homemade muffins, scones and cakes for morning or afternoon tea. There is home-cooked breakfasts, gourmet hamburgers, fresh seafood, fish and chips, salads and specials which change on a weekly basis.

Although Cottage Point has resisted commercialisation, we cater for all of the essential requirements, providing fishing bait and tackle, ice, groceries fresh bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, fuel, alcohol and general store items, and have an EFTPOS service that takes Bankcard, Mastercard & Visa.
